Additional group information

Definition

Administrator refers to an individual who creates a group within Insurback community and owns a valid motor policy offered by any of the partnering insurers of Insurback at the time the group was created.

Active member refers to any member who is part of a group and owns a valid motor policy offered by any of the partnering insurers of Insurback.

Non-active member refers to any member who is part of a group but does not own a valid motor policy offered by the partnering insurers of Insurback.

Roles and Responsibilities of a Group Administrator

A group administrator will be given a sole authority in member management for each group. Roles and responsibilities of an administrator includes:

1. Inviting new members regardless if they are active or inactive to join the group 

2. Approving any invited member or requesting member to join the group 

3. Kicking any active or inactive member from the group 

Basic Rules of Group

1. There will be only ONE administrator in each group.

2. Minimum size of a group is 5.

3. Any individual regardless active or non-active member could only join any group by invitation sent by the group administrator via Facebook and WhatsApp.

4. Any active member could be kicked out from the group anytime by the group administrator should that particular member has demonstrate himself or herself as a bad and irresponsible driver or trigger a claim which will potentially affect the NCC pool of their group.

5. Each member is allowed to join multiple groups at any one time. However, only ONE valid motor policy owned by the member is allowed to tag to ONE group.

6. Any active member may leave the group after being kicked out by group administrator or he/she may opt to leave the after the expiry of the motor policy he/she tagged on to the group.
